Jan 2000 to present. Windows NT 4.0 server and workstation, Windows 9x.  Trouble shoot LAN protocol's for all offices.   Convert NetBEUI to TCP/IP and remove unneeded protocols.  Establish fixed IP address, with the server as 192.168.1.1. Reinstall HP Jetdirect network printers that had been incorrectly installed on IPX/SPX protocol.  Design, install, setup and continuing support for 4 new LAN's running TCP/IP.   Install and configure NT 4.0 Server for the new LAN's. Setup Outlook to read POP email. Install MS office suite as well as MLS access program.  Install, configure and update anti-virus programs, including McAffe and Norton as well as Network Associates free anti-virus program.  Troubleshoot dialup networking problems.   Rolling out modem sharing and DSL/Cable modem access for upcoming MLS transition to a web based system.  Reformat and upgrade workstations and troubleshoot hardware problems, (modems, NIC's, HD's etc).  13 offices with 88 workstations.

May 99 to present. Windows 95/98 desk top support and NT 4.0 Server troubleshooting and system administration on TCP/IP and NetBEUI LAN's.  Install and setup NT 4.0 Server, Install configure and run Internet Information server 2.0.  Configure multiple LAN cards on NT Server.  Configure and administer File and Print sharing, user permissions and the mapping of network drives.   Install, configure and administer firewall for server running IIS 2.0. Install, configure and administer modem sharing on LAN (2 different brands). Trouble shoot printer problems, install, reinstall networked printers.  Install, configure and administrate WinFax using separate fax server.  Install, configure and administrate Cybercash ICI verify credit card approval system with dedicated server on NT LAN.  Install and reinstall MS Service Pack's 4 +5.  Create and update emergency repair discs.   Reformat and reinstall Win 95/98 work stations. Install new as well as upgraded HD's. Trouble shoot connectivity in a thin Ethernet bus application as well as star wired networks. Install and operate cable modems, with DHCP and Static IP.  Outlook and Outlook Express email setup using SMTP and POP servers from my web host, 9Netave.    

Database design and web page integration using MS Access.  Utilize ODBC connections and ASP.

Web page design and maintenance. Webmaster for 10+ URL's for four separate clients. Incorporate Java for navigation functions. Purchase, transfer various URL's.  Design, setup and maintain websites using Microsoft Front Page. Graphics design using Adobe Acrobat 7.0. and Crystal 3D impact pro.Video encoding in MPEG-1 for online video presentations.  Video editing and compiling with U-Lead Video Studio 3.0.

Windows 95 Desk top support and NT 4.0 System administration on a LAN with 10 Work Stations, 3 laptops and a separate stand alone peer to peer network.  Install, trouble shoot, back up and restore Win 95 Work Stations and MS office suite applications on LAN. Includes MS Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Image Composer, ACT 3.0, and other Real Estate specific applications including Altaire, Stellar View and Cross Talk. Installation and trouble shooting of printers, scanners, digital imaging devices. Installation and support of messaging and e-mail applications including Outlook 98 , Exchange and Delrina Winfax. Installation and support of proprietary point of sale applications based on MS Access, Apptaker in financial applications and Call Trax in a Real Estate environment. ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR CO, Trenton, New Jersey

IT manager -April 97 to May 98. Responsible for the support of Windows 95 on NT 4.0 LAN.  Install and trouble shoot Work Stations, Printers, Scanners, removable storage medium devices.  Configure files and Drives to share network resources. Installed and taught employees how to use AOL 3.0.   Created and maintained a database of in shop inventory of rebuilt MG sets for the elevator service industry using MS Access. Used MS Access to create reports and queries of companies existing Dbase3 jobs entry program. Proficient in Windows 3.1, 95 and NT operating systems. Experienced in MS Word, Access, Excel, Front Page 98, Schedule+, Internet Explorer and Exchange.  IMSI TurboCAD, Twain compatible scanners and digital cameras.   Duties include desktop design and publishing of news letters, flyers and promotional material.  Designed, published and maintained company website using MS Front Page.   Installed and used ACT! contact management software to track customer contacts and direct marketing database.
